The most basic differentiation between sanitary pads is between heavy-flow sanitary pads and regular-flow sanitary pads. Nowadays, you can buy sanitary pads online as well. Other than the basic difference in absorption, there is a difference in type of material as well, like organic sanitary pads, cotton sanitary pads, cloth sanitary pads, or plastic-based sanitary pads.

Disposable sanitary pads are the most common type of sanitary pads available on the market. But there are also reusable sanitary pads such as cloth sanitary based. A cloth sanitary pad works like a normal sanitary pad, except instead of disposing of it, you can wash it and use it again.

One should also be careful when disposing of a sanitary pad because it can cause a bad odour if not disposed of properly. Peel off the sanitary pad from your underwear, wings first, and then dispose of it in a disposable bag.
